Nancy Cartagena-Buezo, who had been reported missing since last seen around 10:10 pm near Bolin Heights Terrace in Chapel Hill, has been safely located. Prior to her discovery, the Chapel Hill Police Department had reached out to the community seeking assistance in finding the young girl.
Details about Cartagena-Buezo's brief disappearance were sparse, but the authorities confirmed that she was 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighed about 120 pounds, and sported two nose piercings. She was last spotted wearing a pink top, a gray zip-up sweatshirt, black shorts, and black sandals, according to the report from the Town of Chapel Hill's official website.
At the time of her disappearance, the police stated that Cartagena-Buezo was not believed to be in any danger. However, the lack of information initially left family, friends, and the community concerned for her well-being.
