Last night, Shaler Township was the scene of a residential blaze that left one person with injuries reported as minor. According to WPXI, emergency services were summoned to the 100 block of Wise Lane around 7:21 p.m. to address the fire.
The fire caused traffic problems on Wetzel Road, shutting down a section between Wible Run Road and Little Pine Creek Road as crews fought the flames. The road was later reopened, and traffic returned to normal. Shaler Township Police confirmed the road was cleared, and residents are now dealing with the aftermath of the disruption.

Firefighters from over a dozen North Hills companies were mobilized to confront the blaze, which underscored the need for a collaborative and well-coordinated response in times of emergency.
