According to WXYZ, retired anchor Dave LewAllen, along with Santa Claus and other special guests, helped illuminate the display, which now lights up the cityscape.

The Rochester Downtown Development Authority coordinated the closure of Main Street from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to manage traffic and ensure safety during the event.
