Last night in Rohnert Park, local authorities reported a significant incident involving illegal street racing and driving under the influence. According to a post on the City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire's Facebook page, the city's Public Safety Graveyard Team arrested 22-year-old Jaydon Soldavini following a crash that was tied to both street racing and excessive alcohol consumption.
The incident occurred after Soldavini reportedly lost control of his vehicle amidst the illicit activity. "Fortunately, no injuries occurred during the collision, resulting in only property damage," the City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire stated. However, upon testing, Soldavini was found to have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .15%, almost twice the legal limit of 0.08% in California.
As a direct consequence, he was taken into custody under suspicion of two DUI charges, for 23152(a) cvc DUI and 23152(b) cvc DUI >0.08%, and subsequently booked into Sonoma County Jail. Moreover, the perpetrator's vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
