The City of Round Rock has announced a closure of various city offices in observance of Veterans Day, coming up on Monday, Nov. 11. According to the city's official announcement, the closures will affect the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Municipal Court, Baca Center, Utility Billing Office, and the Round Rock Public Library.
Residents should note that while these services are on pause for the holiday, the city's trash and, recycling pickup will not be affected and will continue as per the normal schedule, as detailed by the City of Round Rock. There's no need to alter your waste management routine — it's business as usual in that department.
In addition to the closure information, the city's post details a local event to commemorate Veterans Day. The Round Rock Veterans Coalition, in partnership with the City, is set to host a Veterans Day Celebration at 11 a.m. at Yonders Point Flag Plaza situated in Old Settlers Park.
