Rowan County Deputies Investigate Armed Robbery at Salisbury's Lucky Charm Skills ArcadeSource: Google Street View

Salisbury, NC became the recent scene of an aggressive armed robbery at the Lucky Charm Skills Arcade, which has prompted an ongoing Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigation. In the early hours of Tuesday, deputies rushed to the arcade on South Main Street following a panic alarm activated at approximately 2:30 a.m., as reported by WBTV. The scene, which involved employees being forcefully corralled and a fearful demand for cash, unfolded when three to four suspects, donned in black with hoods and masks, approached the employees who were exiting the facility.

As the situation escalated, one of the employees was ordered "to lay prone on the floor at gunpoint," according to a statement obtained by the WCCB Charlotte. The robbers attempted to access the establishment’s ATM but were unsuccessful as the employees lacked the necessary key. In what appears to be a hurried exit, the assailants instructed employees to sequester themselves in the bathroom before making their getaway with cash and personal items, which distressingly included a handgun belonging to one of the victims.

Local authorities have turned to the community for assistance in apprehending the individuals responsible. The public is urged to come forward with any relevant information that could lead to a break in the case. Those with knowledge of the incident are encouraged to contact Sgt. Thomason at 704-216-8683 or Detective Lutz at 704-216-8739. There is an option to submit tips anonymously by reaching out to Rowan County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-JAIL (5245), as stated by the Salisbury Post.
