They have launched a hiring spree aimed at those with a zeal for carving through snow and a knack for instruction. The mission is simple: to bring downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding lessons to life at the Como Park Ski Center and Highland National Golf Course this snowy season, as reported by the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation.
Offering lessons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, the department's calendar is slated to be chock-full from mid-December through early February. With a start date in December, training is just around the corner for those joining the team. According to the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation's social media post, the pay for these instructors will be dependent upon their prowess and experience on the slopes.
