San Antonio police are intensifying their search for a suspect linked to a fatal shooting at a house party in October, as reported by KSAT. On the night of October 19th, at approximately 1:30 a.m., authorities responded to a call from the 5900 block of Lopez Valley Road. They discovered the body of 17-year-old Enrique Damian Villanueva in the backyard of the residence, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Based on the ongoing investigation, San Antonio police believe Villanueva was arguing with an individual at a Halloween-themed gathering attended by students from various local high schools, per News4SanAntonio. The dispute escalated until the suspect allegedly produced a firearm and shot Villanueva. Following the tragic incident, the shooter reportedly fled the scene with three other individuals.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has since confirmed Villanueva's identity and the cause of death. In pursuit of leads, SAPD has issued a call for any attendees of the party who have yet to speak to law enforcement to come forward. They are urging these individuals to provide videos, images, or statements from the night of the party. To aid the public's recognition of the suspect, SAPD released a photograph captured by the home's doorbell camera.
