According to KSAT, the design features a "crystal blue" base reminiscent of men's leisure suits popular in the 70s, "San Antonio" emblazoned across the chest, and a checkered pattern along the sides, echoing the aesthetic of the Tower of Americas logo, the classic emblem of the city's skyline.
Becky Kimbro, Senior Vice President of Brand Engagement for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, expressed the connection between the city's history and the uniforms, saying, "This season’s NBA City Edition uniforms mark the next chapter San Antonio’s coming-of-age as pivotal cultural shifts in the ‘70s moved the city forward," as reported by NBA.com, the Spurs' commitment to storytelling through apparel continues, the same report also revealed that the Spurs City Edition court will return with its iconic "Viva Spurs" slogan on the hardwood and on each jersey's tag.
