San Francisco Police have arrested 30-year-old Lucas Molina-Hernandez in connection with a burglary that took place early last week in the city's Southern District. The San Francisco Police Department reported that officers responded to a call on Monday, at around 4:19 a.m., for a burglary on the 300 block of 12th Street. Suspects allegedly made away with a business's goods and a safe full of money.

The subsequent investigation pointed to Molina-Hernandez's involvement, and a stolen vehicle was identified as being used in the burglary. The vehicle, spotted by Bayview Station officers on Monday evening, was parked at the corner of 3rd and Quesada Ave, according to the SFPD release. Working with the Crime Gun Investigation Center, the officers set up a strategy and made a felony stop that led to the detainment of Molina-Hernandez and three others.

Following his booking at San Francisco County Jail, Molina-Hernandez faces a slate of charges. These include possessing a stolen vehicle, receiving stolen property, burglary, and grand theft.

While Molina-Hernandez is in custody, the SFPD continues its investigation and reminds the public that any relevant information should be forwarded. The SFPD suggests tips can be sent to 1-415-575-4444 or through a text to TIP411, beginning the message with "SFPD."
