The Santa Rosa Police Department informed the public through a social media post that their Special Enforcement Team (SET), alongside detectives from the Gang Crimes Team (GCT), conducted the operation on the 1400 block of Apple Creek Lane.
The target of the search warrant, identified as 22-year-old Santa Rosa resident Martiniano Solorio, was brought into custody on suspicion of possessing a stolen handgun, and what transpired during the search indeed confirmed law enforcement suspicions. As officers unearthed a loaded CZ model 75 9mm handgun, they also found a Jennings model 48 .380 auto handgun and a .22 caliber rifle through a relentless probing of the premises during their diligent search of the suspect's home. A records check on the recovered firearms indicated that at least one of these weapons, the CZ model 75, was confirmed as stolen property. The officers also found suspected narcotics and additional ammunition, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department's post.
As a result of the findings, Solorio now faces multiple charges encompassing both felony and misdemeanor offenses. These include carrying a loaded handgun as a non-registered owner (PC 25850[c][6]), possession of a concealed firearm (PC 25400[a][2]), possession of stolen property (PC 496[a]), and possession of a controlled substance (H&S 11377).
