A second individual has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man found at a Houston apartment complex in September. Isaiah Ray Williams, 18, faces murder charges in the 185th State District Court, as detailed in a news release from the City of Houston.
Williams turned himself in to the police yesterday and was to immediately follow suit with a booking into the Harris County jail. He is implicated alongside Enrique Malaquias Bonilla, 21, who has also been charged with murder in the same court. The victim, Sostenos Briones, 23, was discovered dead, exhibiting blunt force trauma to his torso, by the Houston Fire Department paramedics at 1550 Leona Street on the evening of September 26.
According to city's release, HPD patrol officers initially responded to a report of the deceased. The subsequent investigation led to the identification of Bonilla as a suspect. "Bonilla admitted to his role in Briones’ death," police reported. He was arrested last Thursday by the Central Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team.
The booking photos of the suspects, Williams and Bonilla, have been made available as part of the press release. This development is the latest in a series of updates in a case that has been unfolding since the incident.
