
Six juveniles were taken into custody in connection with a robbery and other criminal charges in Moorpark, as per the authorities. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of the suspects, ages ranging from 15 to 17, following an incident on November 19, at a residence situated at 51 Majestic Court in Moorpark.
The altercation involved the suspects conspiring to quickly engage in battery against multiple victims at the location and included theft of property and the making of credible threats. The initial response by Moorpark Patrol deputies occurred on November 15, after which two adult victims and three juveniles were identified and a report was filed, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office. Video footage of the incident, which has been entered into evidence, allowed further investigative leads.
Moorpark School Resource Officer, Deputy K. Jackson took the lead on the investigation, identifying the previously unknown suspects with the help of the available video evidence. According to the narrative provided, this was a pivotal development in the case which led to the subsequent arrests. All six of the accused were booked at the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Complex on multiple charges, including PC 211 – Robbery, PC 422(a) – Criminal Threats, and 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy.
