
A St. Clair County woman faces multiple felony charges after a drug bust yielded a substantial haul of narcotics at her Lynn Township residence. As reported by Audacy, Theresa Doering, 38, stands accused of operating a drug house and possession with intent to distribute various controlled substances.
According to information from ClickOnDetroit, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force carried out the operation last Wednesday, with support from a special response team and K9 Officer Brock. The operation, which was part of an ongoing investigation into local narcotics trafficking, involved the execution of a search warrant. Authorities seized 81.5 grams of methamphetamine, 116.9 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 35 grams of cocaine, along with other drugs, including ecstasy, analogues, ketamine, and various items related to drug sales.
According to the press release picked up by Audacy, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office stated that "Narcotics affect all areas of the community and the St. Clair County Drug Task Force is committed to investigating drug trafficking countywide."
Doering has been arraigned with a bond set at $15,000, CBS News Detroit reports and she is slated for a probable cause conference scheduled for next Tuesday, with an examination hearing to follow on December 10.
