Following a concerning update from the Stillwater Police Department, the Payne County District Attorney's Office is now handling a substantial case against Cody Allen Stolfa, accused of multiple criminal actions from sexual assault to child exploitation. Stolfa, 35, remains in custody at the Payne County Jail after his arrest earlier this year on forcible sodomy charges involving an unconscious dental surgery patient.
In an alarming revelation, the Stillwater Police has now added multiple charges against Stolfa. These include ten counts of sexual battery, five counts of forcible sodomy, six counts of child exploitation, four counts of clandestine recording, two counts of sodomy involving a victim under 16, and one count of lewd acts to child. The investigation, spurred by FBI-discovered evidence on the dark web, has been expanding since a video from 2021 came to light, pinning the timeline of these assaults between June and September of the same year.
At the time of the alleged crimes, Stolfa worked with Central Oklahoma Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates located in Stillwater, where all the reported incidents took place. Officers have informed the 15 newly identified victims about the findings and the ongoing legal procedures. According to the official statement released by the police, the evidence amassed reached the authorities thanks to diligent investigative work complemented by FBI collaboration.
This case is a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities in places presumed safe, and the trust we are sometimes forced to place in individuals whose intentions may betray the professional oaths they once took. Stolfa, originally arrested on July 10, 2024, at his residence in Stillwater, is currently awaiting the next steps in the legal process.
