A 15-year-old boy was shot and injured on the afternoon of November 29th in Englewood, a neighborhood on Chicago's South Side, according to reports from the Chicago Sun-Times. The incident occurred at around 2:20 p.m. on the 5900 block of South Sangamon Street when the victim was on a sidewalk, and someone discharged a firearm striking him in the chest.
Following the gunfire, the wounded teenager was promptly taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and as per police. No suspects have been apprehended in relation to the shooting. The investigation is actively underway.
