The echo of gunfire in Pikesville disrupted a quiet Thanksgiving afternoon as one person fell victim to a shooting incident. Baltimore County Police thoroughly investigate events unfolding around 2:45 p.m. on Hawthorne Ave, as reported by Fox Baltimore.
Authorities from the Pikesville Precinct were called to the scene responding to reports of the shooting. Officers remained on the scene for several hours to cordon off the area and gather evidence at the Hawthorne Avenue home. Though no suspect information has been released, the impact on the community is palpable, as nearby neighbor Patrick Evans stated, per WBALTV, "I didn't hear anything, just police ringing our doorbell," Evans said. "I didn't think anyone even lived there, so it was a bit nerve-wracking."
Police reported that an adult male was shot and taken to the hospital. However, they have not disclosed his condition, identity, or details about the incident.
