On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) together with the Crime Reduction Team (CRT) conducted a series of coordinated drug raids, resulting in the arrest of three individuals in Kalamazoo, Michigan. According to WWMT News, officers confiscated a substantial assortment of narcotics, including over five ounces of fentanyl powder, and crack cocaine, alongside numerous firearms and other items indicative of drug sales.

In the first of the operations on Gull Road, law enforcement seized in excess of five ounces of fentanyl. A 30-year-old man was taken into custody and awaits multiple felony charges; his identity was withheld at the time of reporting. The second bust occurred on Fox Ridge Drive, which yielded an ounce each of crack and powder cocaine, as well as two firearms, as per WKZO. The weapons involved included an unregistered gun and another with a defaced serial number. The 34-year-old male suspect arrested at this location is reported to have prior felony convictions.

Officials moved onto Ridgeway Circle, where, FOX 17 News reports, they confiscated nearly three pounds of powder cocaine, an unregistered firearm, two vehicles, and a significant sum of money believed to be proceeds from drug sales. A 49-year-old man was arrested as part of this raid. He, too, had prior convictions that preclude him from legally possessing a firearm.

Community members with information related to these cases are being urged by authorities to contact KVET at (269) 337-8880 or anonymously through the Kalamazoo Silent Observer tip line at (269) 343-2100. As of now, all suspects are being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail, pending arraignment proceedings.
