Houston police are looking into a deadly shooting that resulted in the loss of three men's lives at 8000 Cook Road on the evening of Tuesday. The shooting occurred at a local apartment complex around 6:45 p.m. according to information shared by the City of Houston.
Two of the victims, both 17 years old, were discovered fatally wounded in the apartment's laundry room. In an unknown direction, a third man, whose age has not been disclosed, was found outside of the laundry room and later succumbed to his injuries at Ben Taub General Hospital. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is in the process of confirming the identities of all three victims.
The initial investigation suggests there was an altercation between two males and two Hispanic suspects inside the laundry room. As per the City of Houston official reports, the argument quickly escalated, leading to an exchange of gunfire that left three individuals dead. One of the suspects, an adult male, fled the scene after the incident.
Law enforcement officials are making an effort to locate the surviving suspect.
