According to ClickOrlando, police reported the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near The Mark, a mobile home community designed for the older demographic. Following the crash, the minivan's trajectory continued unchecked until becoming forcibly united with the structure, leaving a gaping hole in its wake.
The impact not only compromised the building's integrity but also trapped the minivan's driver, who was subsequently extricated by St. Cloud police and firefighters. With doors jammed by the building's resistant embrace, the driver's release was anything but straightforward. Jahimael Hance, a witness, shared photos showing the car’s liftgate sticking out of the tower, highlighting the crash's impact.
