The accident, which occurred slightly before 4 a.m., was severe enough to trap at least one person within a vehicle, prompting authorities to close off both roads, according to a report by FOX19.
Subsequent to the crash, emergency services were dispatched. One of the victims was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for further medical care, while the second individual received treatment on the scene. It was reported open again just before 5 a.m., in a swift response by the authorities to restore the flow of early morning traffic, WLWT officials relayed, in the aftermath of an incident that saw two cars involved in a collision necessitating the extrication of two individuals from the wreckage. Officials told WLWT that though one person was hospitalized, they were expected to recover.
