Two officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were injured following an exchange of gunfire during a robbery incident in the South L.A. region late Friday night. LAPD was responding to a robbery call when shots were fired between the officers and the alleged perpetrators. Caught within the line of fire while attending the scene, one officer was transported for a wound on the right side of the body, and another for a graze wound to the hand, as reported by KTLA. During the intense search, a laundromat in a strip mall was abruptly evacuated, with video footage showing customers scrambling in various directions, sometimes while carrying their laundry. The officers, having received treatment for their injuries, are now in stable condition according to the LAPD, with no life-threatening harm reported. Additionally, there was a victim in the robbery who endured a forehead laceration.
