
Two individuals were injured in a Homestead shooting incident, which led to one man fleeing out a window and another suffering from gunshot wounds. As reported by CBS Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Police were notified of a shooting taking place on McClure Street shortly before 5:45 p.m. yesterday.
Upon arrival, first responders found a man who had injured his leg after jumping from a window amidst the chaos of gunfire. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where his injury was deemed non-life-threatening. Meanwhile, a purported exchange of gunfire between the two men resulted in another man sustaining wounds to the face and abdomen, as reported by WTAE. His injuries, too, were addressed at a local hospital where he declared the shooting occurred at the same location.
The Allegheny County Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident, looking into the circumstances that led to the violent encounter. Detectives are piecing together the events that unfolded on Homestead Street as reports seem to indicate that the two men were shooting at each other.
