Two minors are now facing charges following a spate of vandalism in Nashua, New Hampshire, which saw Halloween decorations at several homes destroyed. According to Boston 25 News, the Nashua Police Department began to receive reports of vandalism on October 13, with incidents occurring between October 11 and 13.
The arrested suspects were allegedly captured on home surveillance systems perpetrating the acts. The footage appeared to quickly lead authorities to identify the young perpetrators. Nashua Police managed to definitively link two juveniles to the destruction and arrested them on Halloween. They were each charged with two counts of criminal mischief.
This development comes after residents described to News 9 that a group of masked teenagers were seen vandalizing Halloween decorations. The damaged decorations included various typical festive ornaments, resulting in disappointment and frustrations amongst community members ahead of the holiday.
The Nashua Police Department is currently continuing its investigation into the matter.
