
The Long Beach Police Department has reported two separate shooting incidents in the early hours of Nov. 26, with both victims sustaining gunshot wounds, as announced on their official news release. The first incident occurred around 2:13 a.m. on the 1600 block of W Willow Street, where officers found a male adult victim with upper body gunshot wounds. Despite his injuries, the victim was uncooperative with the investigation.
The Long Beach Fire Department quickly transported the injured man to a hospital. Details about the suspect or circumstances remain unclear as authorities investigate, as reported by the Long Beach Police Department.
Another gunshot incident took place a short while earlier, at approximately 12:24 a.m., near the intersection of 10th Street and Ohio Avenue. A male adult was discovered with a non-life-threatening injury, having been shot in the upper body.
According to the police report, the victim was in the area when an unknown vehicle approached him and a male adult suspect emerged, opening fire towards him before fleeing in an unknown direction. The motive for the hit shooting remains unknown, as does the potential connection, if any, to the earlier W Willow Street incident. The investigation remains in progress.
