
Two teenagers were wounded in a shooting in Baltimore's Southwest District as the city continues to grapple with gun violence. The Baltimore Police Department reported that officers responded to the 2500 block of West Fayette Street around 4:36 p.m. yesterday following reports of gunfire. According to the department's news release, a 17-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the right thigh and an 18-year-old male victim with a wound to his left thigh were found at the scene.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in stable condition. Detectives from the Southwest District shooting unit have taken over the investigation and are seeking the public's assistance for any information related to the incident.
