Rescue efforts unfolded Monday in Orange County when a vehicle veered off the road and submerged in water. The incident, around 11:15 a.m. on Resort Village Drive near SR-535, prompted a swift response from Orange County Fire Rescue (OCFR) teams, who reported that a vehicle had crashed through fencing before ending up in the aquatic terrain. WFTV reported that rescue divers were sent to search for possible victims among the wreckage and murky waters.
One individual, having been wrested from the vehicle's confines, was rushed to hospital. While there were ongoing searches that the vehicle might have harbored more souls, OCFR later concluded their exploration, unable to transport any additional persons from the crash site, as detailed by WESH.
