Wake Forest's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department has got you covered with a holiday treat for your senses. Starting next Saturday, "Evening Holiday Walk" is set to light up E. Carroll Joyner Park with a dazzling display of holiday lights, meant to be a visual adventure for all who attend.
This seasonal stroll is entirely free and will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. nightly until Dec. 29. Visitors can wander through the Walker Garden and Performance Garden, which will be illuminated with, vibrant lights wrapped around the crepe myrtle trees and bushes. The spectacle also features a majestic 20-foot-tall Christmas tree that will take center stage on the Performance Garden Stage, according to the town's announcement.
No need to worry about parking hassles either, as free parking is available in the Joyner Park parking lot. So mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and prepare to be embraced by the warmth and joy of the season, as Wake Forest invites everyone to partake in this merry-making event.
