The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office responded to the disturbance around 11 p.m., according to information provided by WKRN. Deputies encountered Smith, who was wanted for a violation of a community corrections warrant from Cheatham County and a failure to appear warrant from Wilson County.
The scuffle briefly escalated into a standoff, but deputies were able to swiftly contain the situation without any reported injuries. Following the confrontation, Smith was taken into custody, now facing additional charges of assault and resisting arrest.
