
In a recent update provided by the authorities via a social media post, 19-year-old Quontay Spinks was arrested in connection with a homicide that shook the Central District on September 14. According to the Baltimore Police announcement, which details the events leading up to the arrest, Spinks, hailing from Washington, Maryland, is accused of fatally shooting 36-year-old Antonio Peoples in the 700 block of Aliceanna Street.

Just before midnight on the date of the incident, officers arrived to find Peoples with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Last Friday, detectives from the Warrant Apprehension Taskforce arrested Spinks, aiming to bring justice to this tragic case.
Spinks is now held at the Central Booking Intake Facility, charged with first-degree murder as his case enters the judicial process. Baltimore Police are still investigating and asking for any additional information on the fatal September incident.
