
The Washington State Patrol is actively searching for witnesses following a devastating incident on the Interstate 5 in Lewis County. The fatal collision, which involved two vehicles, took place at approximately 11:32 p.m. on November 19. According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, a red Toyota Camry collided with the center median near milepost 70, becoming disabled and blocking the crucial left lane of travel.
After the initial crash, a white BMW SUV traveling in the same direction collided with the stationary Camry. The impact caused the Camry's driver to be pushed into the northbound lanes of oncoming traffic. Following this, multiple unknown vehicles struck the Camry, resulting in severe injuries to the driver. The WSP's report states that it is still unclear whether the driver of the Camry was inside or outside the vehicle when he was fatally injured.
Investigators are requesting anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. The Washington State Patrol is seeking the public's assistance in providing any relevant details, which could help clarify the events leading to the fatal outcome for the Camry's driver.
