For the residents of White Settlement who've been eagerly sharpening their crafting skills, there's a slight tweak in their festive plans. The December edition of the beloved Craft Club has made a date shift, moving from Friday, December 13 to a more sedate Monday afternoon, December 16 at 1:30 PM. The switch, a necessary evil, makes room for the run-off election taking pride of place in the Library's classroom.
While the craft enthusiasts, looking forward to assembling an "adorable snowman," might feel the chill of disruption, there's a silver lining. The class, rescheduled by White Settlement Community Services, promises to be a snug fit in everyone's holiday schedule.
In case any doubt remains amidst the to-and-fro of the community event schedule, the White Settlement Community Services clarified, "We hope to see you there for some festive fun!" A simple sentiment, but precisely what one needs when election fervor and the winter holidays cross streams. Even as things get moved around, the spirit of the season remains unshaken, standing tall like the snowmen soon to adorn local mantlepieces.
