
White Settlement Police Department has recently apprehended a suspect wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The efficient coordination between the midnight and day shift teams facilitated the arrest, with Corporal Jonathan Russell spotting a familiar name on the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted list.
According to a social media post by the White Settlement Police Department, Russell collaborated with Officers Wesley Gregory and Amina Alvarado to devise a plan for bringing the suspect into custody, a plan to avoid escalating an already tense scenario. The suspect, considered armed and dangerous, was eventually spotted by Sgt. Frank Blaustein and Corporal David Streif as he entered a vehicle.
When the vehicle departed, officers executed a traffic stop and apprehended the suspect in West Fort Worth, confirming the identification before making the arrest. The individual was detained without further incident, a testament to the astute law enforcement techniques employed. Notably, the individual carried the weight of five felony warrants at the time of his arrest.
