The Big Lake Humane Society in Muskegon has recently launched a raffle that has caught the eye of both Taylor Swift fans and animal lovers alike. At the center of this charity event is a 38-inch acoustic guitar autographed by the iconic pop star herself. WOODTV reports that the instrument was donated by a volunteer, with the hope of attracting more attendees and contributors to the organization's annual fundraiser.
Tickets for a chance to win this collectible guitar are priced at $25 each, or for a better value, five can be purchased for $100. The proceeds are aimed to directly benefit the Humane Society, which provides care for around 100 cats and dogs. The draw for the lucky winner of the guitar will be announced at an upcoming event dubbed "Piano for Paws," a dueling piano fundraiser happening at the Polish Falcon Club. According to WGRD, you don't necessarily have to attend this event to have a chance to win the signed item, but raffle ticket sales will close on the preceding Tuesday, just before midnight.
As reported by WZZM13, Alexis Robertson, the executive director of the Big Lake Humane Society, highlighted the importance of this event, stating, "Events like this are vital to us being here and keeping our doors open." She also expressed her gratitude for the donation of the Taylor Swift-signed guitar, which she believes could serve as "the perfect Christmas gift for any Swiftie out there."
