In a sobering turn of events in Bellflower, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are in the midst of an investigation into the fatal stabbing of a woman. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, the incident took place on the evening of October 30, prompting deputies from the Lakewood Sheriff Station to respond to an emergency call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon on the 9600 block of Rose Street.
Upon their arrival at the scene, a male adult, reportedly related to the victim, was detained as a person of interest. As the disturbing details began to unfold, it was revealed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department that the male was subsequently arrested under the suspicion of murder. Officials have confirmed that there are no other suspects sought in connection with the case. As of now, the department has held back further information pending the ongoing investigation.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be disclosed to the public, was pronounced dead at the site by paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, as detailed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
