The 23-year-old, who worked as a security guard, was en route to a photo shoot with his daughter at the time of the attack, which left his car riddled with bullet holes. Police responded to the scene at the Wells Fargo bank parking lot at 10005 Beechnut Street near Beltway 8 where the tragedy unfolded, according to reports from KPRC 2 and ABC13.
The victim was accompanied by two additional passengers, a female and a male roommate, when the shooting occurred the woman and the man were also inside the car during the shooting, notably the roommate who sustained injuries needing hospitalization; the baby, however, miraculously remained unharmed throughout the harrowing experience. The Houston Police Department suspects the shooting occurred a few blocks west of the location where the victim's vehicle was discovered.
