Tragedy struck an Akron neighborhood last night as a 21-year-old man was found fatally shot in an apartment. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and Akron police are investigating the incident in the 50 block of Colonial Hills Drive. According to WKYC, officers were dispatched around 6:45 p.m. in response to a shooting report.
Upon arrival, first responders quickly discovered the young man on the kitchen floor, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts to assist, he was pronounced dead shortly after that at 7:05 p.m. Neither his identity nor the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise have been disclosed, as law enforcement continues to work to positively identify and thoroughly investigate this occurrence diligently, as reported by Cleveland19.
