Columbus Division of Police responded to a shooting report in the 2900 block of Dana Dr., where they found a man, later identified as Robert "Roderick" Smith, fatally shot while sitting in a van. The victim was pronounced deceased by CFD Medic 20 at 1:59 AM, just 16 minutes after the police were summoned to the sad scene on Saturday, November 16.

Witnesses have given conflicting reports on the suspect's escape plan, with some claiming foot while others allege a white car was involved. "Detectives have charged James Locke, 24, with Murder for causing Smith’s death," revealed a Columbus Division of Police statement. As of now, Locke is being held at the Franklin County Jail, waiting for the wheels of justice to churn.
