A 29-year-old woman, identified as Brooklyn Meckley of Leechburg, was killed in a car crash in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County, according to officials. The Westmoreland County coroner confirmed her death following a single-vehicle accident that occurred last night on Route 356 near the River Forest Country Club.

Meckley was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported to have happened shortly before 11 p.m. It was determined that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. Attempts to determine the cause of the crash were still ongoing, as WTAE reported.

Westmoreland County coroner Tim Carson has since verified that Meckley was the vehicle's sole occupant. At approximately 10:47 p.m., the first responders were summoned to the 2100 block of Freeport Road (State Road 356). As detailed by WPXI, emergency crews were quickly called to the site following reports of the crash.
