A 66-year-old woman from San Bernardino was struck and killed in a traffic collision in Loma Linda on Friday evening, reports the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The victim, whose name has yet to be released, met her tragic end near the intersection of Redlands Blvd. and Richardson St. at around 7:00 p.m. when she was hit by a grey 2019 Toyota Camry while traversing the roadway.
Following the incident, both deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and members of the Loma Linda Fire Department responded to the scene. Investigations conducted by the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) of the Sheriff's Department are currently ongoing. The area was cordoned off to traffic until approximately 10:40 p.m. as the authorities meticulously examined the scene of the fatal mishap.
