A disturbing incident has unfolded in Pittsburgh after a 93-year-old woman was followed from a bus stop and assaulted in her own home. Charges are now pending against a 39-year-old man, Ronny Hough, as reported by WTAE. The police were alerted to a burglary in progress at a residence on Lowrie Street in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood, where they discovered the elderly victim. According to the victim's account given to the police, the man she did not know trailed her from Downtown Pittsburgh after boarding the same Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus.
Following the alarming arrival of Hough in her home, she reported that he then physically attacked her and proceeded to assault her sexually. This confession from the shaken survivor comes alongside Hough's admission during police questioning, revealing that he did indeed follow the woman and commit the assault.
However, justice swiftly caught up with Hough, as Pittsburgh police arrested him, and he is now facing multiple charges, including simple assault and criminal trespass. According to CBS News Pittsburgh, the case is pending further developments until a preliminary hearing set for December 26, after Christmas.
