The Katy community is on edge as 15-year-old Alexa Jones has been missing for over a week. She was last seen on the night of December 12, when she reportedly left her family’s home. This was confirmed by her family and local authorities, as stated by FOX 26.
An Amber Alert was issued Last Thursday, her family said the night she disappeared felt normal, with her mother said, “Everybody had a really great night. We had a movie night. We had a devotional night. Everybody was talking about what they wanted to have for Christmas. It was really fun. That’s why we are so shocked.” Two days after she went missing, Alexa emailed her sister, saying she was safe and charging her phone at a Starbucks with help from a stranger. Since then, there has been no contact, and Alexa’s mother expressed the anguish of waiting, saying, “If you see her please say something because her family is in torture,” according to FOX 26.
Alexa, a 5'5" woman with auburn hair, brown eyes, and wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants, has gone missing. Her family is desperately asking for her safe return, with her mother saying, “Please come home. Don’t worry about being in trouble. Just come home. We need you home.
