Relief spread across Arlington this week as the Arlington Police Department announced the safe location of Eugene McGruder, a 76-year-old man missing since last Wednesday. The Silver Alert, issued after Mr. McGruder's disappearance, was discontinued following his discovery in Midland, TX.
Before being located, McGruder was last seen on the 6200 block of ST. Leonard Drive in Arlington. Descriptions provided by the Arlington Police Department detailed him as a black male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds, with black eyes and hair. His attire then included a blue jogging suit with stripes on the sides and a brown coat. McGruder's vehicle, a blue 2006 Ford F-150 with the Texas license plate BV11375, became a key detail in the search.
