The Austin Police Department is currently in pursuit of two suspects following a robbery at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Northeast Austin. FOX 7 Austin reported that the crime occurred between 5:25 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. on December 9, at the location on 6004 FM 969 Road.
Per the description provided by the APD, the first suspect is a Black male around the ages of 40 to 50, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. Running away with stolen goods, he was bald with a gray beard and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. The second suspect, a Black female also between 40 to 50 years of age, made threats alongside her accomplice before exiting the store. She has short black hair and was last seen sporting a multicolored top, beige shorts, and tall black boots.
Further details given by KXAN include that both suspects made threats to the employee of the store and fled the crime scene in a white vehicle, taking with them merchandise that remains unspecified.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the APD's Robbery unit directly at 512-974-5092. There is a possibility of a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest, searching to apprehend the individuals responsible for the robbery.
