Travelers looking to jet set from Music City to new destinations will soon have more options at their fingertips. As reported by WSMV, Avelo Airlines is rolling out four new nonstop flights from Nashville International Airport, enhancing connectivity to hubs in both the North and South. The expansion, unveiled on Dec. 4, includes routes to Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina, Wilmington in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley area, Rochester, New York, and Wilmington, North Carolina, with introductory one-way fares at a budget-friendly $44, as detailed by WKRN.
Bucking the trend of sky-high travel costs, Avelo's aim is to deliver pocket-friendly prices without scrimping on destinations. Said Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO, in a statement obtained by WKRN, "We’re excited to announce an expansion of Avelo’s nonstop service in Nashville with four new nonstop routes to Charlotte, Philadelphia, Rochester and Wilmington." Landing at smaller, yet convenient airports spares passengers the metropolitan hustle often associated with larger hubs, a business strategy Levy hopes will appeal to the efficiency-loving traveler.
Initial service for these routes is scheduled for the spring of 2025, with operations twice a week utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The Tennessean highlights Avelo Airlines' focus on underused airports, such as Concord-Padgett in North Carolina and Wilmington in Delaware, offering fresh routes and hassle-free parking.
The plan acknowledges that brimming with musical lore and the hum of artistic creation, Nashville offers a symphony of experiences that Avelo's new routes will make more accessible. "These new nonstop routes also make exploring the abundance of experiences Nashville has to offer a seamless journey for visitors," Levy told WSMV.
