Patrol officers from the Northwest District answered a call at 11:01 p.m. in the 3500 block of Clifton Avenue, where they found a man struck by a fatal bullet. The 38-year-old male, whose identity hasn't been disclosed pending family notification, was unresponsive upon officers' arrival.
Emergency medical personnel were swiftly at the scene, but their efforts were in vain. The man was pronounced dead soon after their arrival.
