Five teenage suspects have been taken into custody by Baltimore County Police following reports of an attempted carjacking in Towson. The incident unfolded in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road around 8 p.m. last Saturday, as reported by Baltimore County Police. The same group of teens is also believed to be connected to an assault that took place in the vicinity the previous night, with four out of the five teenagers implicated in both incidents.
Collaborating closely with the department's Carjacking Team, Towson patrol officers played a crucial role in capturing the suspects between the ages of 13 and 17. During the holiday season, a spirit of concern has led the department to increase police visibility in the area. Officers, freshly recruited to assist, were instrumental in the swift apprehension of the young individuals, striving to ensure community safety.
