According to the Baltimore Police Department, Meyers was apprehended less than an hour after the alleged assault on Tuesday. Around 8:38 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers located Meyers in the 1100 block of Armstead Way before transporting him to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He is currently facing charges of first and second-degree murder and assault.

Officers had initially been summoned to the scene following a report of an assault. Upon arrival, they were forced to enter the residence, where they discovered Praharnpap experiencing trauma. Despite efforts to save her life, she was pronounced deceased by arriving medical personnel.
