Early this morning, Southern District patrol officers were summoned to a local hospital after a young man walked in with a gunshot wound, a somber reminder that the festive season is not free from violence. The incident occurred in the 800 block of East Patapsco Avenue, an area familiar with gunfire.
According to a media advisory from the Baltimore Police Department, the victim is a 21-year-old male who, at the time of admission, was suffering from what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
