On the night before Christmas, a stroke of luck fell upon Beaver County as a local Sunoco gas station sold a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket valued at $1 million. According to WPXI, the fortunate ticket, sold at the station on Pleasant Drive in Center Township, matched five white balls drawn on Christmas Eve – 11, 14, 38, 45, and 46 – but narrowly missed the yellow Mega Ball 3.
The local retailer is richer by $5,000, earning a bonus for selling the million-dollar ticket. Despite this winning ticket, the grand jackpot was not claimed that evening and has since rolled over to an astonishing $1.15 billion, as CBS News Pittsburgh reported.
This sum could change the life of another individual or group who dares to dream big in tomorrow's drawing.
